Aliyah and Lone Soldiers

Garin Tzabar is Tzofim Olami’s flagship Aliyah program, supporting young Jews from around the world who choose to immigrate to Israel and serve as lone soldiers in the IDF. Each year, approximately 400–500 participants join the program, with around 1,200–1,500 lone soldiers supported at any given time. The program provides comprehensive support—from pre-Aliyah preparation through military service and into civilian life.

Participants join as part of a cohesive group (“Garin”), building a strong support network while taking an active role in Israeli society through a meaningful, life-shaping experience.
